Our role

To improve learning outcomes for deaf/hard of hearing students in mainstream schools. We aim to do this by providing professional development and support for teachers working with the student. This may include teacher aides, classroom teachers and specialist teachers (Staffing Transfer Teachers).

Our support services

  1. Modules
    • Personalised Professional Development Modules at Distance (delivered via Skype).
    • Self-directed, online Module Bites.
  2. Personalised professional development visits to schools, including visiting with and assessment of the student’s present needs as required.
  3. Support for schools via phone, email, Skype.
  4. Resources on request.
