Media Centre Services
A modern Library and Media Centre provides and extensive range of print and captioned video resources to the region served by the Centre.

Margaret Hunt has been coordinating and promoting van Asch resource services since 1983. "Libraries are a changing information base and van Asch is no different" says Margaret. Van Asch is a very forward thinking centre with the Media Centre the hub of information for students and staff both on campus and our wider community. Dayle Campbell joined the library staff in 2001. Before coming to van Asch she worked for 10 years at the Ashburton Intermediate School Library and was responsible for the day to day management of the library.

Liz Guthrie has been working in the Media Centre since 1989, mainly in the production of teaching and student resources for regional and on campus use. Liz also produces van Asch publications News & Views, Insider, Home Away from Home, KIT News, ITOD Open Line and the School Magazine.

Bruce Stewart has been working in the Media Centre since 1999 as a Graphic Artist. With the assistance of specialist staff he creates and produces teaching resources including NZ Sign Language and Deaf Studies resources.
