Our vision

All deaf and hard of hearing in New Zealand will have the skills and knowledge necessary to enjoy fulfilling and satisfying lives.

This is accomplished through early access to and the acquisition of language, excellence in teaching, family involvement, collaboration and best practice.

Residential Youth Support Worker

We are looking for a caring, positive, professional, team player to join our residential support team responsible for the safe operation of the residential homes for Deaf students. The priority being to support our students in daily tasks including homework and daily residential activities. You will be expected to provide support to staff during meal breaks, cooking and cleaning. You may at times be required to assist in supporting activities that students may undertake off site. Your positive attitude and ability to motivate young adults will be the key driver of your success.
